Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that his country did not start the war in the region but “stood firmly against the aggressors.” “The US and the Zionist entity launched a war on Iran,” he said. The president was speaking at the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference in the capital, Tehran. “No Muslim country should pursue its security in the insecurity of its neighbours,” the president said in remarks quoted by state media.
