Six-seat difference between pro and anti-Netanyahu blocs

The pro-Netanyahu bloc is leading with 55 seats, with the anti-Netanyahu bloc at 49 seats of the 120-seat Knesset. Both sides are still falling short of the 61-seat majority needed. As of 7.58am local time, Netanyahu’s Likud party was leading with 27 seats, with Eisenkot’s Yashar party in second place with 21, ahead of the Arab-led Joint List in third place with 12 seats. So far, 57.3 per cent of the votes have been counted.
