Residents of Islamabad are struggling to find seasonal influenza vaccines as winter approaches. Popular brands, including Vaxigrip and Influvac, are reportedly unavailable due to international shortages, transport disruptions and pricing issues. DRAP CEO Obaidullah Malik said China’s Sinovac vaccine was expected by November 15. Meanwhile, Virionza has sparked a pricing controversy after its barcode displayed a lower price than the amount printed on its packaging.
