Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he would fight sanctions imposed on any Israeli military units for alleged human rights abuses, after media reports said the US was planning sanctions against an army unit in the occupied West Bank. “If anyone thinks they can impose sanctions on a unit of the IDF – I will fight it with all my strength,” Mr Netanyahu said. Washington is mulling sanctions on the Netzah Yehuda army battalion, according to an Axios report.
