The Supreme Court postponed the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) ruling in the Ravi Urban Development Plan case on Monday, allowing the Punjab government to continue working on the project.

The bench was hearing arguments against the project’s annulment, which the Lahore High Court (LHC) had declared “unconstitutional” on January 25 because it lacked a master plan.

Earlier in the hearing, the supreme court chastised the Punjab government’s legal team for appearing before the bench unprepared.
