Israeli artillery fire killed six civilians in central and southern Gaza on Friday morning, the Wafa news agency reported. Five bodies were recovered from a home hit by Israeli shelling in Al Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza, Wafa said. Al Mawasi was designated as a “humanitarian safe zone”. Another person was killed when a house was hit in Al Nuseirat refugee camp in the centre of the enclave.
