Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there was a “tragic mistake” after overnight Israeli air strikes killed dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, in Rafah on Monday. At least 45 Palestinians were killed while seeking shelter in a “safe zone” designated by Israel. Mr Netanyahu told the Knesset, or parliament, that Israel was “investigating” the incident.
