The United States has a range of options to deal with nuclear weapons, including Iran deciding to give them up, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told a news briefing today. When asked when the Strait of Hormuz may become fully operational again, he said one of the US’s primary objectives was to destroy Iran’s navy to ensure that “energy flows” through the strait.
