Israeli forces are carrying out a raid in the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, where they have exchanged gunfire with armed groups, the Wafa news agency reported. Images and video from the camp, near Nablus, showed Israeli tanks, bulldozers, soldiers and drones in the area. It was not immediately clear whether there were any casualties. Israel has increased its operations in the West Bank. It previously launched a 15-hour raid in Jenin that caused damage to homes and infrastructure.
