The Israeli army killed a Palestinian man in the West Bank city of Jenin, local media has reported, as raids took place across the occupied territory. Ayman Azouqa, 19, was shot in the chest and thigh at dawn on Wednesday. He died after Israeli forces prevented Red Crescent medics from reaching him quickly, Jenin government hospital director Dr Wissam Bakr told the official Wafa news agency. Raids were reported across the West Bank city and its eponymous refugee camp on Wednesday.
