The situation in the Strait of Hormuz cannot be considered in isolation because the disruption of shipping is a result of the war imposed by the US and Israel, says Iran’s FM Araghchi. In a phone conversation with the UN chief Guterres, Araghchi said that every country or international institution concerned about peace and security must responsibly condemn the US-Israeli crimes and demand an “end to their military aggression against the Iranian nation”, he said, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.
