Speaking to reporters in Geneva, UN human rights office spokesperson Thameen al-Kheetan said “Israeli air strikes have destroyed entire residential buildings in dense urban environments with multiple members of the same family, including women and children often killed together”. “Such attacks raise concerns under international humanitarian law,” said the official. Israel’s intensified attacks on Lebanon this month have killed at least 886 people, including 111 children and 67 women, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said yesterday.
