The French Navy downed two Houthi drones in the Red Sea overnight, the army confirmed. The incident occurred just hours after the militant group renewed threats to target ships en route to Israel. The two drones “were heading straight towards” the Languedoc navy vessel, the army said on X, and were intercepted in two separate incidents around 12.30 am and 2.30 am local time.
