Israeli forces are laying siege to two hospitals in Khan Younis, where the Palestine Red Crescent has warned its teams are in “extreme danger”. “Occupation vehicles are besieging both Al Amal Hospital and Al Nasser Hospital amidst very intense shelling and heavy gunfire,” the Red Crescent wrote on X. Israeli tanks are surrounding Al Amal and conducting “extensive excavation work” around the medical centre, it added.
