Five Kashmiri teenagers were killed by government troops in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), authorities reported Tuesday, a day after five soldiers were killed.
The five Kashmiris were killed in two different instances in the Muslim-majority region’s southern Shopian district, according to police. According to authorities, three of those killed were members of an anti-India group, and one of them was responsible for the death of a street hawker last week.
Two more Kashmiris were killed in separate instances on Monday, with one of them being accused by police of killing a taxi driver last week, which his family denies.
