A drone aimed at the Israeli city of Eilat crashed into open territory in Jordan, close to the border with Israel. The craft landed 200 metres from the frontier, close to Ramon Airport, a representative for the Eilat Municipality confirmed. It comes a day after an Israeli army base was damaged in a strike launched by Iraqi militias, the first direct hit on Eilat since the war began in October.
