Prime Minister Rishi Sunak told the House of Commons during PM’s Questions that the country would “continue to work to end the bloodshed in Sudan”. About a “safe and legal route” for refugees seeking to flee Sudan, Mr. Sunak replied: “As outlined earlier, our priority in Sudan, first and foremost, was to evacuate our diplomats and their families, which I’m very pleased we were one of the first countries to be able to do.”
