A Pakistani diplomat Badar-uz-Zaman claimed that Pakistan can overtake India in trade with China in a period of 8 to 10 years although its trade with China is 1/5th of India’s trade. He said, “India has a population five to six times larger than that of Pakistan, so I hope that it will take eight to 10 years to overtake them”.
