On Monday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that the weather in Karachi would become much more intense.

From April 26 (Tuesday) onwards, chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz predicts temperatures of 38 to 39 degrees Celsius.

“Temperatures could reach 40 degrees Celsius,” Sardar added, adding that winds from the north-west will likely blow at a reduced speed during the day.
