Chief Secretary Takes Notice of Karachi Blast

KARACHI, Oct 21 (APP): Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah Wednesday took a notice of blast in Alnoor Plaza at Gulshan-e-Iqbal in Karachi. He also directed the commissioner and other officials to expedite the rescue and relief work, said Personal Secretary to Chief Secretary Farhat Javaid while talking to APP here. The chief secretary also directed the health secretary to visit the blast site.

Head Coaches Confirm Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Squads

Karachi, 21 October 2020:¬†From white-ball cricket in Multan and Rawalpindi under the COVID19 protocols, action moves to Karachi when the red-ball first-class Quaid-e-Azam Trophy commences on Sunday, 25 October. On Wednesday, the six head coaches announced their squads, which will include all the top performers who will not be involved in the series against Zimbabwe, which kicks off in Rawalpindi on Friday, 30 October.  

Doctors & Nurses Condemn Discontinuation of Corona Health Allowance

KARACHI, Oct 12 (APP): OPDs in different public sector hospitals in Karachi were closed for two hours (10 am to 12 noon) Monday as part of a token strike against the provincial government's decision to stop, with immediate effect the Covid Health Allowance for doctors, nurses and paramedics.
