On Thursday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) announced that there would be another spell of rain in Karachi next week. Sardar Sarfaraz, Chief Meteorologist said Karachi would receive a second spell of rain during the winter season from January 5 to 6, 2022, while it may drizzle on January 4. He added that moderate to heavy rainfall was expected and a new westerly system of rain might enter the country through Balochistan on December 31.
