On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that his government has developed and implemented a comprehensive ‘Agriculture Transformation Plan’ for the first time in history. The govt prioritized the mechanization of the agricultural sector, supply of quality seeds, efficient management of water, and assistance to farmers in livestock farming, he added. He further said that the introduction of farmer cards, fertilizer subsidies, and the genetic improvement of livestock yielded record production.
