Different parts of the city were blanketed in deep fog Thursday morning, disrupting traffic movement and delaying flights at Jinnah International Airport.

The fog made it difficult for commuters to go to work and school.

Heavy fog enveloped the city’s Orangi Town, Malir, North Nazimabad, and nearby areas. Due to poor visibility, traffic on the Super Highway Link Road and in surrounding regions was also impacted.

The Met Office has forecast dry weather across much of Sindh. “During the early hours, shallow fog/smog is likely to prevail over Sukkur and surrounding areas,” it warned.
