Istanbul: On Nov 23, A Turkish court resumed a trial over the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The journalism watchdog interpreted the case as “nearing standoff” and said the hearing required to involve Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Khashoggi, a critic of Prince Mohammed, was last seen in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2, 2018. A U.S. intelligence report alleged Prince Mohammed of approving the operation to assassinate or abduct Khashoggi in Oct. 2018.
