Young Dolph, an American rapper, was shot and killed in a cookie shop in Memphis, Tennessee, according to authorities.
Adolph Robert Thornton, a Chicago-born artist, was 36 years old when he died.
His successful songs included “Major,” and his 2020 album “Rich Slave” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to local press sources, Thornton was shopping at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in Memphis when he was shot.
A suspect has yet to be identified, according to police.
