For the first time since the government began tracking data on the outbreak in March last year, Pakistan’s COVID-19 positive rate fell to 0.94 percent on Tuesday.

Pakistan has continuously reported a coronavirus positivity rate of less than 2% and less than 1,000 daily infections over the last three weeks. Hospitalizations and daily mortality counts have also decreased, showing that the COVID-19 situation in Pakistan is improving.

After 42,373 tests, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reported that 400 people tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
