Shehbaz Sharif, the head of the opposition in the National Assembly and the president of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), has said that rising prices and poverty have broken people’s backs.

However, he emphasised that [Prime Minister] Imran Khan’s time had come to an end. On Sunday, he spoke at a public gathering in conjunction with the ongoing Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) protest movement against the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
