Lahore: On Friday, the Lahore High Court set aside Bahauddin Zakariya University’s (BZU) order to withdraw the admission of an Ahmadi student belonging to the Ahmadi community, terming the university’s action as “‘Persecuting the already persecuted”. BZU suspended Umer Taimur Tahir’s admission who was enrolled in the Pharm-D program on a minority quota. The student in his petition has claimed that he was “treated as an object and not a human being”.
