Rome: On Oct 29, it was reported that leaders of the 20 wealthiest nations would recognize the contemporary peril of climate change, according to Pope Francis’ statement on the COP26 summit. He said that the summit must deliver “factual hope” by approximating words with deeds. All leaders will promise to take urgent actions to impede global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
