World leaders and friendly nations extended Independence Day greetings to Pakistan on Friday. Russia’s President Putin extends Independence Day greetings to President Zardari, PM Sharif. In his message, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian termed Pakistan’s Independence Day a “valuable opportunity to pay tribute to the achievements of the great Pakistani nation”. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio extended “heartfelt congratulations” to the people of Pakistan on the country’s Independence Day.
