According to the National Command and Operation Centre, Pakistan’s COVID-19 death toll has dropped to its lowest level since the fourth wave began in July, with 20 individuals dying from the virus in the last 24 hours (NCOC).

According to the NCOC’s most recent COVID-19 figures, 43,786 coronavirus tests were performed across the country in the last 24 hours, with 603 persons testing positive.

The current positivity rate in the country is 1.37 percent.

COVID-19 has killed 28,300 people in the country so far, with 1,265,650 cases and 1,211,710 persons recovering from the virus. There are presently 25,640 cases in progress.
