The Hamas-run Interior Ministry in Gaza gave a clan leader suspected of receiving support from Israel 10 days to turn himself in to relevant authorities in the strip. The ministry said Yasser Abu Shabab, an armed gang leader opposed to Hamas, is wanted for prosecution on charges of treason, forming an illegal armed gang and leading an armed rebellion. “If he does not surrender, he will be considered a fugitive from justice and will be tried in absentia,” the ministry said, after the decision was made by what it called a revolutionary court.
