The first set of hostages are expected to be released from Gaza on Sunday, pending the approval of Israel’s cabinet and government to implement a ceasefire there, the Prime Minister’s office said on Friday. Israel’s cabinet commenced its meeting to approve the ceasefire agreement a day after it was delayed while last-minute arrangements were being made.
