The body had already been transferred from Munich to Istanbul, where a Turkish Airlines TK708 flight carrying the body landed at Karachi International Airport.
Umer’s wife, Zareen Ghazal, and Pakistan’s attorney general in Germany, Amjad Ali, accompanied the deceased. When the corpse arrived, it was draped in the Pakistani flag and handed over to the dead comedian’s sons. Umer Sharif’s body has been sent to the morgue of the social welfare department.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) made all arrangements for the deceased body to be received at the Karachi airport’s cargo terminal.
