Jordan has described Israel’s overnight strikes on Rafah as war crimes and a direct challenge to an international court ruling to halt its attacks on the area. The kingdom’s Foreign Ministry said “these actions … represent a blatant violation of the rules of international law” and “blatant challenge to the decisions of the international court”. The strikes “represent war crimes, and the whole international community must confront them”, the Foreign Ministry said.
