The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles into the Red Sea towards two ships, causing minor damage to a UK-owned and Panama-flagged ship, the US military said on Saturday. The launch from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen was in the vicinity of MV Maisha, an Antigua and Barbados-flagged, Liberia-operated vessel and MV Andromeda Star, owned in the UK and carrying the flag of Panama, the US Central Command said. “MV Andromeda Star reports minor damage, but is continuing its voyage,” the Centcom said.
