The US urged Turkey on Friday that buying further weapons from Russia would jeopardize bilateral ties, after US retaliation over its acquisition of the S-400 air defense system.
The announcement came after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin previously this week and discussed further military cooperation, including the use of aircraft and even submarines.
