UN ambassadors will visit Israel’s southern communities and northern border for the first time since the onset of the Gaza conflict. The nine ambassadors, from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Liberia, Romania and Ukraine, as well as Security Council member countries Malta, Sierra Leone and Slovenia, will be led by Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan. The ambassadors will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Israel Katz and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant.
