Islamabad: Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Foreign Office spokesperson, stated that unneeded references to Pakistan in United States Senate bill was inconsistent keeping in view the spirit of Pak-US alliance on Afghanistan since 2001. Moreover, he said that Pakistan had always promoted peace in Afghanistan and even helped in evacuation of all international citizens including the US’.
