US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan spoke to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani about the importance of stopping attacks against US personnel in Iraq and Syria, the White House said. The pair met on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, discussing a range of issues, “including Iran’s reckless ballistic missile attacks against Erbil, Iraq the day prior.” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed the attack, which killed several civilians, including children, in the northern Kurdish city.
