Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran’s permanent representative to the UN, made the accusations in an interview with Newsweek publication after two nights of joint air raids on Yemen. Iravani told Newsweek that “any country engaging in this military aggression or subsequent hostilities may expose itself to potential danger”. He added that the strikes were a “flagrant violation of national sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a transgression of the United Nations Charter”.
