Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, called on key US Government and Military officials during his ongoing visit to the US and discussed matters of bilateral interests, global and regional security issues and ongoing conflicts, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Friday. According to the army’s media wing, the army chief held meetings with the US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, Secretary of Defense Llyod Austin and Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland.
