A week after his surprise retirement from international cricket, Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim will now play for the Melbourne Stars. The 34-year-old, who previously played for the Melbourne Renegades, will now don the Stars’ green jersey post-Christmas for the remainder of the tournament. The side’s General Manager Blair Crouch said the team identified Imad as a “player who could come in and perform a role for us with his left-arm spin and lengthen our batting lineup”.
