Most of the fuel for generators, intensive care units, and life-saving machines in hospitals, would run out “in the next few hours”, Gaza’s health ministry spokesman Dr. Ashraf Al Quda stated. “Our hospitals are pronouncing their last breaths. The medical infrastructure is about to completely collapse. The world will be horrified at the severity of the situation if medical supplies do not reach us in the next few hours through a safe corridor,” he said.
