The US will not comply with International Criminal Court arrest warrants issued for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, Washington’s envoy to the UN said. “We have been clear that we have a problem with the court’s ruling,” Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. “We will not arrest him.” Ms Thomas-Greenfield also criticised an “unfair” focus on Israel at the UN, calling it “problematic”.
