Civilians in Aleppo are caught in the crossfire of fighting between Syrian security forces and the SDF. “For the past two days, the situation was too ugly. Our life came to a grinding halt. When fighting starts, a single bullet brings all aspects of life to a stop, from work to education,” one young resident told Al Jazeera. Another said: “It is really awful to see innocent civilians running with their children for their lives. What wrong did those innocent children do?”
