The US said on Monday that it would designate two additional companies involved in shipping Iranian commodities in support of Yemen’s Houthi rebels. “The United States is today designating two additional companies that have been involved in the shipment of Iranian commodities in support of the Iran-based, Houthi financial facilitator Said Al Jamal and his network,” the State Department said. Washington has conducted airstrikes on Houthi positions following continued militant attacks on vessels in the Red Sea.
