On Friday, Russia’s ambassador to Washington compared the state of US-Russia relations to an “ice age” and warned of a “high” risk of a direct clash between the pair. A Russian official also warned that Moscow might cut oil output next year in response to price caps on its crude and oil products introduced by the EU and G7.
