Members of the UK’s international development committee published a report on the situation in Gaza after a visit to the aid logistics centre and hospital at Al Arish in Egypt. They recommend the government makes it an absolute priority to ensure sufficient amounts of food, “massively” more than at present, enters Gaza. This will give people certainty and ease problems including the safety of aid workers, the report says.
