UAE and Egyptian teams last night began a humanitarian operation for people in need in Gaza, sending three aircraft carrying about 36 tonnes of food and medical aid to the enclave. Operation “Birds of Goodness” is part of the “Gallant Knight 3” initiative launched by President Sheikh Mohamed last November. It aims to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people and speed up delivery of urgent aid to those in need in northern Gaza.
